Step 1
Start our tutorial by creating a new document with 1000×1000 pixels (72 dpi) and fill canvas with color #000000.
Step 2
Go to Layer > New > Layer from Background to convert the background layer into a regular layer. After that apply Gradient Overlay layer style for this layer by going to Layer > Layer Style > Gradient Overlay.
Step 3
Now I’m going to add the text and apply a few layer styles to get desired elegant effect. Get out the Horizontal Type Tool and write out some text (Brush Script Std font, 300 pt, Crisp) in the middle of canvas.
Step 4
Change Fill of text layer to 0%. Now let’s start applying styles to layer.
Step 5
You need to create a new contour when applying Bevel and Emboss style. Click on contour to change it, click New, give a name and create it like image below.
Step 6
Apply also Satin, Color Overlay and Stroke styles to text layer.
Step 7
And the last one thing that I would like to add is elegant stars to the text. Create new layer, then use Rectangular Marquee Tool to create selection similar to mine and fill it with white color.
Step 8
Then deselect chosen area with Ctrl+D and apply Filter > Blur > Motion Blur with similar settings to these:
Step 9
Now duplicate this layer with Ctrl+J and rotate copy about 90 CW by using Edit > Transform > Rotate 90 CW.
Step 10
Merge copied layer with original one. Then use the Elliptical Marquee Tool to create round selection as on my picture below and fill this selection with white color on the new layer.
Step 11
Remove selection with Ctrl+D again and apply Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur with next presets:
Step 12
Merge this layer with previous one, then use Ctrl+T to reduce a little bit size of this star and rotate it.
